Story:
When Rainbow Tip was still young he would be taught by his Mother how to fly.
His mother was a part of the Thunderbolts which was not only the fastest gang of Equestria but also the personal guards of Celestia.
He was always very proud of his mum and worked to be like her.
Quite early he earned his cutie mark when he was flying with his mum at quite high speed and flew straight threw a rainbow, the rainbow turned gray and vanished short after and the color of that rainbow stuck to his mane.
His mum was unbelievably proud as she had a son which earned his cutie mark at such a young age.
when he was 13 his mum and the other Thunderbolts were called to go on a trip with Celestia to a Land quite far away from Canterlot, when they came back two of the Thunderbolts were heavily wounded and even Celestia was in Panic, his mum died while shielding the princes the only thing left of her was a part of her suit which Rainbow Tip now wears as scarf at all times.
